River Rye'd

A collaboration beer with Leinenkugel's, this rye lager is made with Tennessee rye and Wisconsin hops. On to the beer:

There's a little haze, but not enough to where the show of CO2 bubbles is covered . Body is pale yellow colored with a soapy head and it leaves tiny spots of lace around the glass. This aroma is clean and hoppy. Modest floral notes and waves of grass coming from the hops.

River Rye'd is a crisp, clean beer which would make a lighter alternative to the pale ales of the world. Light bodied with clean floral notes and a touch of rye bread crust, this doesn't get sweet at any point and really hit the spot for me on a hot day.
