A "cooper" is a craftsman that makes barrels, including barrels for beer. "Hoops" are the metal bands that help hold barrels together. Cooper Hoop is an award winning beer that utilizes English hops, English yeast and the classic English malt variety, Marris Otter to create an authentic English style ESB. ESB means stands for Extra Special B-Word.

I was glad to see a seasonal ESB. According to the information card, the beer is made with Maris Otter malts, English hops and an English yeast strain.
Poured into a standard pint, the beer is clear gold with a dense white. It has good lacing.
Aroma of spicy hops and some bready malts. There is something else that adds a touch of green apple (maybe the yeast?).
The beer leads with some mild bitterness; some caramel malts and finishes with some Ritz cracker type taste.
The mouth has nice low carbonation.
While not mind blowing, I thought this a well-constructed session beer. Good job!
