Another brew sampled on a visit to SBC. It is chilled and served in a normal glass. The beer is clear gold color and arrives with no head whatsoever. Aroma is present even without picking up the glass. Smells like a blueberry muffin. First sip reveals an average body with fine prickly carbonation. The flavor is light with sweet berries up front, which roll to a slightly bitter hoppy finish. Flavor is a little grassy at the finish also. This is a crisp and refreshing brew without the overpowering fruit presence I have tasted in other fruit brews. The brew is made with Blueberry extract according to the bartender. A well made beer in my opinion.
