Not so much a true Saison as compared to a Fantome or Saison Dupont, more of a tasty hopless ale with spices and coriander. Appearance: Glowing amber ruby brown forms a toffee cream colored head leaves ample lacing all around my glass. Aroma: Orange peel, coriander, malty backbone bartender said no hops well I didn't taste any. Somewhat of a gruit ale here, but very good. Taste: Balanced betweeen the coriander/spice and the darker toasted malts brings out an excellent refreshing experimental brew labeled a Saison. Mouthfeel: Medium body soft carbonation no complaints goes down smooth. Drinkability: Went perfect with my Teryaki Tuna salad, a must try not overdone on the spice making it one tasty new experience for most.
