Another very solid and above average beer by Faust-Miltenberger.
A very bubbly copper colored liquid, perfectly balanced in every way. Delicious roast malts dry but slightly fruity also.

Bottle purchased at Maruhn's in Darmstadt, Hessen (Germany).
Pours a very pale gold, almost like a pilsener. It is crystal clear and perfectly clean with a large, bubbly head. The head lasts about 90 seconds, then starts to fade, but leaves behind a nice lace.
A good balance of hops, fruits, and prairie grasses in the nose. There are slight metallic undertones, as well as a light but full fruit aroma.
The flavors are also well balanced, and surprise me with their high hop presence - certainly more than the average Märzen. It starts slightly sour, but quickly progresses to flavors of bright hops, evolves to a nice brown-roasted malt, then finishes with a crisp metallic lager flavor. Unfortunately, it's a tad watery in the mouthfeel.
Overall a very refreshing and finely made Winter Festbier. Well balanced from top to bottom.
