This beer arrived at our table in a tall cocktail-like glass with a huge awkward chunk of grapefruit on the rim. It was a fizzy, pale yellow/silver color and gave off a strong lemon smell--which slightly churned my stomach. The only aspect which reminded me I had ordered a beer rather than a cocktail was the head, which redeemed with good persistence and a tight, creamy consistency.
The taste was fizzy and lemony. I guess I can add grapefruit to that, although I was feeling "tequiza" the whole way through. An artificial aftertaste.
Avoid this one if you find yourself in Sapporo, Japan during the winter. I hope it changes out of the rotation soon.
