L- Pours with very slight haze (bottle conditioned). Dark amber, some rising CO2 into a quite sparse partial white foam cap.
S- Mild for me, just some bready notes.
T- ^Underwhelming... then boom, a blast of mega hops; shock! So shouty that I spontaneously sneeze! Well, that was the first sip of beer today. Sip 2 is still dry, like a combo of dry hops + dry dissolved CO2. It's bready before any clear malty presence.
F- Generally dry and lacking any malty oomph, perhaps better for warmer months?
O- CO2 in glass rather underwhelming. Drinkable enough but I don't find anything here to conclude I'd look to buy this brew again.

Took a 0,5L bottle dated 20.01.2024 to-go when I was at the brewery in Bamberg. Pours a gorgeous golden orange color. Fairly boozy and spicy in the nose. Flavor is more nuanced and in line with the style. Sweet, grainy malt followed by a slight barny funk. Smooth finish but a bit metallic and one dimensional. Great overall and wouldn’t hesitate to drink again.

From the flip top bottle, it pours a nice lightly hazy coppery amber with a good off-white head that lasts a while. In the nose, it is a touch spicey - hard for me to describe. In the mouth, it is a touch hoppy and caramel malty. Nice!
