Grabbed a taster of this brew at the Socorro Springs Brewpub and it was just what I needed to quench my thirst!
Appearance- Very pale straw with lots of beady bubbles rising from the glass. Crystal clear with very little head retention.
Aroma- Sweet and clean, with an excellent noble hop nose. A touch of honey sweetness but very clean and crisp with soft floral notes.
Flavor- Very light bodied with a clean and floral start that bubbles its way out of high carbonation. Soft pils malt flavors round out the middle and a mild bready finish with subtle herbal hop bitterness is just enough to tie it all together. Nice and refreshing and one heck of a lawnmower beer!
Mouthfeel- Minimal residual sweetness, crisp, and effervescent. Great session brew.
Overall- Was not expecting too much out of this one, especially because this isnt my favorite style, but the floral notes in the nose and flavor are really good and give this lager a nice touch that begs you to take another sip...
