A: Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap

S: Some citrus and pine up front along with bready malt and melon notes

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and then goes into some light pine and bready malt. Melon notes stand out. Finishes with a bit of a yeasty undertone

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A nice IPA that is easy to drink. Nothing special, but a good one-off

Batch #1. Fall 2018 dry hopped with Chinook, Simcoe & Centennial hops.

Naturally hazy. White gold. White and tight foamy cap.

A very spicy and green-herb style hoppy aroma. Mildly sweet tropical fruits, citrus and black pepper make it the grand majority of the nose.perhaps some crispy but sweet malty notes roll in later. A very vibrant and dense hop effect in the aroma.

The body and texture is unusually impressive: A light malty bite, sharp and fresh edges, almost dry, light

From the 2018 Fall Variety Pack
Look - very hazy light orange colored. Relatively small foam head and some lacing
Smell - Very fruity aroma. Mostly tropical - ripe mango, grapefruit, pineapple, orange, sugarcane, and hint of coconut
Taste - wow. Intense flavor profile that actually matches the smell...sweet tropical fruits, sweet grass, buttered biscuit, and a strong malt backbone. It really packs a punch, which i appreciate in an IPA. Bitterness is certainly there with the dry hopping but its about right, not unpleasant in any way. Medium-high carbonation. Medium body but is fairly drinkable.

Overall, i think they made a fine India Pale Ale here. It is very robust in the fruit flavor, sweet but the bitterness comes in and balances it out. Could have called it a tropical IPA because it really has more tropical flavors than pine or citrus. Give this beer a B+

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 07/06/2018. Sampled on August 3, 2018.

It pours a very opaque, milky looking pale yellow with a soft, foamy white head that lingers. Some lacing.

The fruit aromas are what I get mostly with orange, tangerine, and melon with a less forward herbal character over a white bread sweetness.

Medium or better mouthfeel.

The taste is pleasant and fruity but the fruitiness fades after a moment and the dry-hopped bitterness really kicks in at the finish. Mostly sweet.
