On tap at said Tavern.
A-Pours a deep brown with a soft head. Head dies off to nothing.
S-Smooth and sweet. Caramel and light roast. A bit nutty. Nearly no hops to it, at least in the nose.
T-Soft chocolatey tones. Nutty and a little bit of cola. Roast with some brown sugar. The lightest hop presence.
M-Medium bodied. Peppy carbonation. No lingering aftertaste. Not boozy either. I would peg this at a mid 5% brew.
O-Pretty cool to have your house beer be a brown Ale. When I think of a tavern ale I think of a brown or a Porter so I thought that was pretty cool.

On tap poured into a pint glass.
Pours a nice ruddy brown with a decent sized white head. Nose is malty with a slightly vegetal hop note and some caramel.
Taste is malty and and chewy, with some smooth nutty flavors. The mouthfeel is spot on, quite easy drinking but there's a slight vinegar taste once it warms up.
