HOP off the lift and into a well-deserved IPA as piney and resiny as the well-trodden trails. But fair warning; This beer is not for beginners. It’s a great day to Après.

This is the best brew from Long Trail so far, IMHO. Nice hop bite and greatly malt balanced, Steady foam head and perfect carbonation. Aftertaste is very good.

Can into Pilsner Glass (Canned 12/04/25)
Look: Slightly cloudy dark golden amber, pouring a 1 finger off white head, which slowly dissipated into a cap. Nice lacing
Smell: Biscuity malty and some piney resinous hops. Orange and some caramel. Kinda weakish nose
Taste: Similar to nose. Biscuity malt base, caramel like sweetness, with a nice piney and resinous hops kick, with a hint of orange hiding behind all of that. Finish elevates the hops even more with some grassy-ness. Danky aftertaste
Feel: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, crisp
Overall: Good brew. Definitely true to its description, not a beginner IPA

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – the beer pours a clear deep golden amber color with a one finger head of orange-amber tinted foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading very slowly over time and leaving a ton of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is nice blend of biscuit malt and some caramel mixed with other light aromas of peach and apricot. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of a papaya ands tangerine and light notes of a herbal and grapefruit hop.
Taste – the taste starts out with a biscuit and bready flavor matched with a cracker malt. The sweet is very light, with just hints of peach and caramel and maybe a touch of toffee. The hop, like the sweet, is on the more mild side as well, more pale ale like with some flavors of pine and herbal hops present. As the taste advances, the hops get a tad bit stronger, while the sweet fades even more, and with a touch of hay, one is left with a crisp, mildly sweet, and dankly hopped taste to linger.
Mouthfeel – the body of the brew is more crisp in nature with a moderate to more mild carbonation level.
Overall – Nothing special, but easy drinking enough. Not bad.

Drinking out of a 12oz. Snifter.
Pours a clear copper color with a medium head.
Smells some of pine.
Fair mouth feel.
More a WCIPA. Hop forward. Moderate bitterness.
