Created by a hop head, for hop heads! This American IPA is designed to offer the big bold hop aroma & flavor of a higher gravity IPA, in a more modest 6.4% ABV offering. Pure hop resins and Falconer’s Flight hops™ are added into the kettle and throughout multiple dry hop additions.

Pours a hazed orange with soapy white head. Aroma is full of citrus hops and a bit of pine. The taste is solidly bitter, with plenty of herb, resin and pine notes. Slight citrus and pale malt sweetness provide more depth of flavor. Full bodied ale that has nice medium carbonation. Overall, this is a great IPA.

eyes...
nicely frothy white cap, 2 solid fingers - absolutely lovely looking, straw hue with a wink at orange (slightly cloudy), lots of carbonation swirling around, simple but this scores in all categories, lacing is excellent and the head retention is stellar, great looking brew from the fine folks at long trail
nose...
mildly piney, citrusy, lemon zest, nice rounded fresh hop aroma, not the strongest but really nice and hoppy in a pleasant way
taste etc...
bright carbonation, really pops in the mouth, drinks medium with a pretty good amount of malt presence, the hops are really nice and in balance here, there is a nice underlying sweetness that nestles in along with some mild bitterness, this is a winner all around, nice mouth feel (a bit more substantial than many IPAs), good hop flavor, some bitterness, malt sweetness coming through and a slightly kicked up ABV. What is not to love?
verdict?
great beer, hits on all points and is very drinkable, it satisfies that hop craving but remains approachable
