Had on tap. Part of the Farmhouse Ales series Long Trail started this year. These beers are brewed once and if they are truly successful they may be done again. This series can only be had at the Long Trail Brewery. The beer looked great, with a mostly clear amber color with a light head. The smell was a mix of earthy tones, a hint of citrus and a strong malt tone. The taste was very malty with the aromas flavors, yet with a crisp finish. This crispness nicely categorizes the mouthfeel. Overall the beer is ok, probably not something that will be made again.
