A delicious NEIPA that's not over the top hoppy. The finish is smooth with little after taste. Very satisfying and a new favorite.

This is like Octopus Wants to Fight with a New England twist, but not quite a winner.
Nice head, with a nose that is reminiscent to most of Great Lakes Brewery's other IPAs. Nice, but a bit soapy.
The body loses with the carbonation and something else seems to be missing but the aftertaste is nice.
You could do worse...and better.

As far back as I can remember, I cannot remember anything quite like this....yes suddenly this beer’s name seems so relevant in so many ways! How does it stack up? Let us see.
Poured into a Bench Brewery tulip, and offered a lovely opaque thick mango coloured bliss. Only a slight collar here but overall a fine look. Nose leads with mango with orange peel finish. Taste is fruity start with fizzy finish. A but thin for my liking but overall decent enough. At 6.4 a few may help us forget all the present and enjoy our past memories....hang in there everyone and enjoy a beer in moderation....

Look: Cloudy orangy gold, with a 2 finger white foamy head. Head has great retention still 1/4 fingers across the top at 5 minutes.
Smell: Tropical fruits, pineapple, grapefruit, citrus.
Taste: Taste follows the smell, mango and grapefruit stood in the front end for me. PIthy and earthy through the middle. Bitter at the back. Juicy is a descriptor that keeps coming up in most reviews, I whole heartedly agree.
Feel: Medium body, plays mostly across the palate. This beer has left me with heart burn every time I have drank it.
Overall this beer earns a B, because of the heartburn, without the heart burn I would rate it a little higher.

Looks like grapefruit juice in my glass and the taste goes along with the appearance with lots of tropical juicy tasting notes. The frothy head leaves nice lacing on the glass and the bubbles dry up on the edge of the glass

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jan 27 2020 and served barely chilled. I've got a growing backlog of beers to review right now, but new GLB IPAs go straight to the front of the queue.
Pours cloudy as hell, with a translucent goldenrod-coloured body from which nearly two fingers of soapy, bubbly white head rises. It settles off at a brisk pace; several minutes later the glass has been splattered with messy lacing, with a wide, frothy collar also lingering on - looks great IMO. The aroma is mostly juicy - I'm getting grapefruit and stone fruit, as well as passion fruit, mango and a hint of strawberry-kiwi juice.
Delicious stuff, with successive waves of fruity hop flavours that sweep across the taste buds. There's mango, pineapple, orange and grapefruit, as well as hints of strawberry, melon, apricot and passion fruit; grapefruit pith and passion fruit carry on through the finish and into the aftertaste, which is not particularly bitter. Medium-full in body, with low carbonation that weakly agitates the surface of the palate; feels slick and smooth, with good drinkability.
Final Grade: 4.14, an A-. As Far Back As I Can Remember, Great Lakes' Tank Ten Series has produced almost nothing but winning pale ales, and this latest entrant is no exception. I wouldn't say it's the best of their IPAs, or even in the top 3-4, but in all fairness that's putting it up against some real stiff competition. At the end of the day, it's very juicy, with minimal bitterness, which means it's already ahead of a lot of the local NEIPA competition. A superb brew that I plan to pick up regularly while it remains available & fresh.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for $3.50 CDN. Canned January 27, 2020.
Appearance - Super hazy and turbid golden color with honey brown hues. Insane amount of haze. Just less than a finger of white head on top with moderate staying power.
Smell - Lots of tropical notes leaning sweeter with mango and papaya, followed up with melon, passionfruit, a smidgen of pineapple and a touch of grapefruit for balance.
Taste - Just like the nose, tropical fruits with mango, passionfruit and melon leading the way and other fruits accompanying. A certain wheaty quality to the brew as well (unsurprising as wheat is involved). Good malt balance and very tasty overall. Bitterness is only moderate.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, carbonation on the lighter side, drinks like a juice box. Spot on for a quality NEIPA.
Overall - Very good NEIPA, glad I tried and stacks up with some of the best GLB has to offer, not quite Thurst! or Lake Effect, for my tastes, but doesn't pale with Karma Citra or Octopus Wants to Fight either.

Pours murky light brown with a bubbly, foamy long lasting head. The aroma is of tropical fruit and light, cracker malts. The taste is full of mango, melon, pineapple, passion fruit - an onslaught of modern hop flavors. A diminutive malt profile in the back. The mouthfeel is full bodied with lots of creamy carbonation. High bitterness and lots of hop fruitiness in the long finish.
This is a nice NE IPA. Complex and juicy, but very balanced for the style with lots of malt presence. Worth a try.
