On tap at Volo for Night of the Funk, served in a tulip. A Saison fermented with 3 brett strains (although I didn't catch which ones Mike actually put in this one).
Poured a pale golden orange, good sized head. Hazy body, with some mild retention and light lacing. Nose is spicy and peppercorn-y, citrus and orange zest. Hints of funk. Taste has more orange and citrus zest, pepper and light wheat notes. Some pungent and almost deodorant (?)-like flavours that were difficult to pin down. Good body, almost pulpy and lightly chewy. Very drinkable and quite a pleasant and intriguing saison.

Night of Funk at Bar Volo. Good saison, though smells of locker room sweat, after workout armpit. cloudy golden yellow coloured body with decent head and lace. Good drinkability. Mostly a story of pepper, but Brett carried the day. Drink first before the stronger alcohol beers and hoppier beers wipe clean the palate. Above Average mouthfeel, very good drinkability.
