More of a Belgian strong, worthy of including in a list with fine Unibroue such as Maudite. Yeast up front and then a spicy tasty beer takes over. Cloudy slightly orange. Decent mouthfeel, though carbonation right there. Bottle from the brewery earlier in the year. Very good drinkability.

On tap at Volo.
Cloudy orange, almost caramel in colour. Big white head. Moderate retention, some lacing.
Big smell: fruits and spices. Orange, ginger. Some sweet caramel. Pretty good.
Ginger and orange in taste, some booze is noticeable. Caramel and yeast as well. Ginger is a bit strong for me but otherwise good.
Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation, a bit of irritation.
Overall, pretty good. If this beer is really 10.6% (which labels on the bottles appear to indicate), then it hides it well. The booze was there but I would not have pegged it at nearly that high.
