Into a snifter at Brothers Beer Bistro. From notes.
A - Poured light golden and bright with good carbonation and a one finger white head. No lace and a half finger of retention.
S - Bready grain, pilsner malt, banana, pumpkin.
T - Mild spice, banana, pumpkin, light malt.
M - Light to medium body, good carbonation, lingering banana/pumpkin thing goin on.
O/D - An interesting beer, especially for those of use who don't like pumpkin ales. The pumpkin was subtle, mild, and tasty. Mild spice and good sweet malt with that spritsy sorta saison character rounded out a nice take on the style.

On tap at Bryden's. Light orange body, above average mouthfeel, this is a light pumpkin beer from the juicer with some yeast in it. The pumpkin and cloves taste dominates all. Not as spicy and overwhelming a pumpkin beer as the Fall variety the rage across North America. I do not know if I would want this as my go-to summer beer, perhaps I will stick with lighter hoppier offerings.

On tap at Brydens, into a tulip. A "summer pumpkin saison."
Yellowed-orange with nice white head capping this off throughout the pint. Nose has gentle spice, some yeast, and while not exactly pumpkin, reminds me of something more 'gourdy' or squash-like. Light nutmeg and spice on the palate, more fleshy squash notes and finishes dry yet sweet. Medium body, and refreshing. A nice farmhouse ale.
