750mL bottle from a recent tasting - cheers hopsolutely!
Poured into a sampling snifter. Bright cherry red, a quarter inch of foam that receded into a thin ring.
Nose of cherry candy, bit of woodsiness, mild tartness and yeast.
A surprisingly tasty cherry saison with sweet cherries and a mild sour tartness which gives the brew a wild quality. The cherries are a bit sweeter than I had expected, but I think the tartness of the brew took over a bit as it warmed.
Great saison, would love to have this one again, if only to see how it stands up by its own (this was sampled alongside far more sour saisons and gueuzes, so I'd like to try it just by itself).

On tap at Bar Hop tap takeover. This is the Lackey recommended one. A cherry that is moderate as served too cold, then more nicely tart as it warms (Lots of malt). Fresh, very fresh. Cherry aroma. Lace ring on light body. Something different from this brewer. Want bolder cherry.
