On-tap at the Rhino during the summer beer festival (old review).

Beer is reddish pink in colour, almost no head. Looks a bit like cranberry juice.

Smell contains slight funk and a touch of tartness. Light raspberry. A rather faint smell. A bit of a Kool-Aid scent.

Tart raspberry in the flavour, and some yeast. Pretty thin flavour-wise. Nice and refreshing but not super flavourful.

Light bodied, low carbonation level. Refreshing.

Overall, just OK.

Blood red colour, pinkish-white head, decent lace as well. Smell is a ton of raspberry and fruit, jammy with some honey as well, bits of wheaty malt too. Taste also has a ton of raspberry, yeasty with some tart fruit followed by some sweetness, malty-honey flavours, fruity aftertaste. medium carbonation, medium bodied. Quite refreshing and flavourful stuff, easy to drink, a bit one sided on the raspberry but still nice.

A small production for The Rhino summer fest, taking into account recent power and production losses owing to storms at this West End brewery. A nice little summery offering of raspberry that would make a good cask. Pinkish bodied, low abv and easy to drink. I estimate in the low 4's in abv.
