I'm pretty sure this Beer is the same as Belle-vue gueuze, but in capped 250ml bottles.
Appearance: Scotchy, rusty nail caramel, with too much head for this style.
Smell: A fresh, vanilla extract aroma, but something is missing...Where are the cobwebs, the dusty attic, the mustyness that I love so much??
Taste: A pale copy of the lambic doux offered at the famous bar in Brussels. Way too sweet, not enough acidity or citrus notes, it made my blood sugar rise and didn't have the bite or sharp finish you'd expect. Another inferior product from our friends at InBev!

Despite my prejudgement towards this sort of soury style, la becasse gueuze made me reestimate my conception of it. The brown pour with a slight tan head, fizzy, and the notably apple and fruity smell are very inviting. The taste, only moderately sour, say, borderline cider, with more to it (in fruit terms) than just apple, is great. I'll be buying more of this.
