2006 vintage.
Poured with a big light pink head and a dark pinkish hue. Carbonation seen rising. Pretty good start.
Aroma of raspberries and slightly musty.
Tate of raspberries, farmhouse, lightly tart and some wood. Not a very bold taste.
Mouthfeel was light and lightly cleansing.
Overall, a decent beer but there are definitely better beers of this style. I would also recommend drinking this fresh, as I don't think the aging helped any.

Sorry but this following comment is in french :
Beer bottle (37,5 cl), tasted in 2003.
Appearance: amber colour, a beautiful foam slight
Smell: good raspberry nose
Taste and mouthfeel: in the mouth agreement between freshness and raspberry, rather short final
Drinkability : a correct gueuze, but without further
Review added 11-24-2007, translated from french 1-25-2008.

375ml bottle, corked and caged
Pours with a murky pinky/purple body, fluffy off white pinky head with good retention, some lacing
Smell, musty fruit, strawberries and rasberries, fruits of the forest yogurt, touch of estery malt
Taste, creamy fruit, fizzy cabonated mouthfeel, fair whack of sweetness, some lingering bready malt on the finish
Bit bland and too sweet but not bad

Light brown colour with a dense foamy pink head. Great thick lacing and head retention. Sweet raspberry aroma. Flavour is sweet and sour, salty and irony. Medium bodied. Very refreshing. Not bad for an accessible fruit lambic.

Appearance: Pours a pretty cloudy orange red color with a very small head that dissipated pretty quickly to a small ring across the top of the beer. There are very few bubbles rising to maintain the head. There is some thin lacing left on the glass after drinking.
Aroma: Very assertive fruity aroma with a noticeable tart character to it. The raspberries are the main component of the aroma. The fruit is really complex, and it almost has a strawberry presence to it also. It is rather one-sided, but still pleasant.
Taste: The flavor is pretty thin for such a bold aroma. The beer doesn't show a lot of tart character in the flavor, and ends a bit watery. The raspberry is definitely the key player here, and it dominates the entire flavor profile long into the finish. You really get no malt or wheat here...just a slightly tart kool-aid like drink.
Opinion: I am not a huge fan of fruit beers, and this one is no exception for me. It is OK, but lacking a lot of depth that I expect from a lambic style beer. This was a good experience, but not one that I will be seeking out in the future.

Tasted this 37.5cl corked and caged bottle on 04 June 06 (best by 24/02/07). Imported by Inbev UK, purchased in a Tesco store Dublin for 2.95.
Poured a clear ruby brew with a frothy white head tinged with pink. Smelled less than anticipated and tasted slightly sour-slightly sweet without being too challenging either way. Fruity flavoured; soured raspberries. Mouthfeel was quite syrupy.
Overall a worth-a-try brew for a Summers day (which it was), but only as an occasional.

Orange-red tinged brown. Medium fruit on the nose, with candy-like raspberry flavors big time. Tastes like Smarties-- it's really like drinking candy. The easy, medium tartness leads to an unobtrusive mouthfeel and solid drinkability. Would I get tired of this eventually? Well it's hard to speculate but my experience at least was a positive one.

I had one of these on New Years Day in Leuven Belgium (along with a few other beers!). I paid close attention to each of them, just for reference!
The head was nearly non-existent, with what little existed dissipating almost instantly.
The color was a sort of darker off-pink, looking more like a dark blush-wine than a beer.
The taste was fruity but not overly-so. My wife commented that it didn't have nearly as much raspberry taste as Lambec's, which to me was an advantage because I didn't feel like I was drinking fruit-punch or something.
I believe I could knock off a good number of these without complaint-- if I were in the mood for a lightly-fruity tasting beer.

I didnt enjoy this beer to much. It was very very fruity and I know this is a fruit beer but there has to be a line and for me this beer was far over it. The taste was very gastric and overly sweet. It could almost pass as alcoholic juice.
Its not terrible but ive definitely had better ones in this range.
