Sorry but this following comment is in french :
Beer bottle (37,5 cl), tasted in 2003.
Appearance: amber colour, a beautiful foam slight
Smell: good raspberry nose
Taste and mouthfeel: in the mouth agreement between freshness and raspberry, rather short final
Drinkability : a correct gueuze, but without further
Review added 11-24-2007, translated from french 1-25-2008.

375ml bottle, corked and caged
Pours with a murky pinky/purple body, fluffy off white pinky head with good retention, some lacing
Smell, musty fruit, strawberries and rasberries, fruits of the forest yogurt, touch of estery malt
Taste, creamy fruit, fizzy cabonated mouthfeel, fair whack of sweetness, some lingering bready malt on the finish
Bit bland and too sweet but not bad

Light brown colour with a dense foamy pink head. Great thick lacing and head retention. Sweet raspberry aroma. Flavour is sweet and sour, salty and irony. Medium bodied. Very refreshing. Not bad for an accessible fruit lambic.

Appearance: Pours a pretty cloudy orange red color with a very small head that dissipated pretty quickly to a small ring across the top of the beer. There are very few bubbles rising to maintain the head. There is some thin lacing left on the glass after drinking.
Aroma: Very assertive fruity aroma with a noticeable tart character to it. The raspberries are the main component of the aroma. The fruit is really complex, and it almost has a strawberry presence to it also. It is rather one-sided, but still pleasant.
Taste: The flavor is pretty thin for such a bold aroma. The beer doesn't show a lot of tart character in the flavor, and ends a bit watery. The raspberry is definitely the key player here, and it dominates the entire flavor profile long into the finish. You really get no malt or wheat here...just a slightly tart kool-aid like drink.
Opinion: I am not a huge fan of fruit beers, and this one is no exception for me. It is OK, but lacking a lot of depth that I expect from a lambic style beer. This was a good experience, but not one that I will be seeking out in the future.

Tasted this 37.5cl corked and caged bottle on 04 June 06 (best by 24/02/07). Imported by Inbev UK, purchased in a Tesco store Dublin for 2.95.
Poured a clear ruby brew with a frothy white head tinged with pink. Smelled less than anticipated and tasted slightly sour-slightly sweet without being too challenging either way. Fruity flavoured; soured raspberries. Mouthfeel was quite syrupy.
Overall a worth-a-try brew for a Summers day (which it was), but only as an occasional.

Orange-red tinged brown. Medium fruit on the nose, with candy-like raspberry flavors big time. Tastes like Smarties-- it's really like drinking candy. The easy, medium tartness leads to an unobtrusive mouthfeel and solid drinkability. Would I get tired of this eventually? Well it's hard to speculate but my experience at least was a positive one.

I had one of these on New Years Day in Leuven Belgium (along with a few other beers!). I paid close attention to each of them, just for reference!
The head was nearly non-existent, with what little existed dissipating almost instantly.
The color was a sort of darker off-pink, looking more like a dark blush-wine than a beer.
The taste was fruity but not overly-so. My wife commented that it didn't have nearly as much raspberry taste as Lambec's, which to me was an advantage because I didn't feel like I was drinking fruit-punch or something.
I believe I could knock off a good number of these without complaint-- if I were in the mood for a lightly-fruity tasting beer.

I didnt enjoy this beer to much. It was very very fruity and I know this is a fruit beer but there has to be a line and for me this beer was far over it. The taste was very gastric and overly sweet. It could almost pass as alcoholic juice.
Its not terrible but ive definitely had better ones in this range.

300ml Bottle bought from the Vineyard, Belfast..
Poured a reddish brown colour... Head was slightly off white with hints of pink. Quite foamy but disappeared very quickly..
Aroma - Creamy raspberrys, sugary, peppery hints, pear, spicy, vanilla...
Taste Very light raspberry taste, earthy hints, lemony, peppery...
Feel - Quite sharp initially but becomes smooth...
Overall - An average fruit beer. Becomes slightly sickly after a while... worth a try once...

This thing poured a rosy pink colour with a light pink head.
Faint smell of raspberries.
Taste was SOUR. I love the kriek, but this beer is like its ugly sister. Medium carbonation made it easier to go down.
Drinkable but I probably will not have another. Drink the Kriek. Especially if you can find it on tap. Its much better than this one.

Appearance: Reddish orange color with a whispy white head. Excellent lacing as nice, even bubbles dance to the top.
Smell: Sweet raspberry nose with a malty and crisp nose backed by some candy sugar sweetness.
Taste: Very sweet, floral raspberry alcohol in the middle with a sweet candy ending. The opening is rather unexciting until the sweet raspberry flavor kicks in. A bit syrupy, tastes more like Hansen's juice than a beer.
Mouthfeel: Sticky, slightly dry though still reminiscent of fruit syrups.
Drinkability: Good an refreshing but not outstanding. Hansen's is just about as good except without the alcohol.

A great fruit lambic, and mine and my girl's favourite of the lot.
Poured a gorgeous amber pink, with a thick white fluffy head. Plenty of lacing.
Aroma: Raspberry!! A slight sourness, a sweet malt hint, and a little like kid's medicine.
Flavour: Sour fruit, obviously raspberries, sweetness, not from malt, a slight lactic sourness, that yummo lambic character. No hop, no malt, but balanced perfectly.

Call me crazy, but I liked this a hell of a lot more than Oud Beersel Kriek. I love the way lambics look, with the huge lacing and head and pinkish hue. The head remains somewhat throughout. The aroma was like fruit punch flavored vicks vapo rub. It is not nearly as sour as others with a pleasant fruitiness. I think this is a great transition one between Lindeman's and the more sour ones.

This one was not very impressive to say the least. The appearance was a descent look but not for beer. I will have to say for a smell rasberry is a good aroma and this is no different. When pouring it pours like champagne bubbles up and quickly dies down with a almost dirty white tone. First taste I puckered up and quickly grabbed a bite of food to overpower the sourness of it. The mouthfeel was sparkling which I really don't prefer in a beer. Although a interesting beer selection I would have to say if you want a lambic fruit beer try the cherry it is not as sour.

Appearance This one poured a very orangy purple with a modest head that left some nice pits.
Smell Nice, even-keeled mix of barny gueze and tarty raspberry. A little understated, but nice.
Taste This one didnt sit right with me. The raspberry wasnt over the top, which I like, but the lambic that was there was unpleasant.
Mouthfeel Light to medium both in body and carbonation, this Fruit Lambic didnt shock the taste buds like some do.
Drinkability An all-around nice offering by Belle-Vue, but nothing to write home about.

There's a biggish, cream-colored head sitting on the hazy, darkish, red/amber beer. Sedimenty, sticky, fine grainy lacing. The nose shows sweet raspberries and candy. There's a slight sourish woodiness in there too. Woody, sweet raspberries up front, followed by a spritzy, foamy middle. It's a little syrupy, but not really thick. Hm. There's a nice little pucker in the tangy sour finish. It's not bad. Just a little too sweet.

Pours a pinkish tea color with a very small creamy head. The smell of a sweet tinge of tart fruit and warming notes of alcohol make up the aroma. The taste is also tart berries, very slight hints of yeast, and a light carb spritz transcends into more sweetness but surprisingly finishes dry. This is a light to medium bodied beer that drinks down with great ease. Op uw gezonheid!

A slightly hazy and deep ruby red color on the pour, head is fair to middling in size, somewhat creamy in texture and off white in color with a nice sheet of lace to drape the glass. The nose is fruit sweet, fresh and crisp with a sugar sweet start that leads to a light to medium top. Finish is moderate in acidity with a sweet and sour aftertaste that is also dry, once again a decent drinking Lambic, but nothing special.

This Lambic is scarlet red in color. A light pink head formed and quickly disappeared. The head gave away to a thin sticky lace that did stay until the end. The nose I sweet with hints of raspberries and a slight musty aroma. The taste is a tart raspberry. In addition, a bit of carbonation noticed in this Lambic. Definitely a desert beer. I think I could have a few of these but after awhile, the raspberry flavor would burn out the taste buds. Try it youll like it!

Pours a brownish red color with a creamy light pink colored head that fades into a very sticky lace. Nose is quite floral with notes of fresh cut roses. Very nice. Medium in body with a fine carbonation and a silky smooth texture. Taste is sweet fruit up front followed by tart raspberries and some earthy woody oak flavors. An enjoyable lambic that makes for a very nice dessert beer.

Pretty clear beer. Not much of a head. Scarlet red in color. Lovely smell. Sweet raspberry bouquet. Also some smoke and oak. The taste is sweet, but not as appealing as the nose. There's a little tartness to balance the sweetness, but I don't believe this is a lambic brewed in the traditional sense (see Cantillon). This one seems sweetened. And even if I rate it as a fruit beer, I'd still give it an average rating. The raspberry notes are dominant. Some woody tones come and go. Also a bit of a bitterness. Some acidity is noted. And smokiness is also detected. The mouthfeel is pretty weak. Watery. Without carbonation. Weak attempt at a body. I would not pay $1 for a bottle of this again, let alone the $2.99 I shelled out (which was actually discounted from $4.99).

This is one incredibly sweet beer. Pours a dark pink/red color with a 1/2-inch bubbly head that fades down leaving a nice sticky lace on the glass. Aromas are bursting with the fruitiness of raspberries and cherries. Theres quite a bit of tartness and sourness flavor from the raspberries. There is a lot of carbonation, which makes me think more of a champagne than a beer. Finish is very light and crisp.

There is a thin lingering head on this one. The color is red like a melted Jolly Rancher. The nose is crisp and fruity and invigorating. The taste is a silky smooth and sweet, very good and very carbonated. Almost strips the palate and leaves you with a sweet & sour after taste. This is another Excellent beer as far as lambic's are concerned.

2006 vintage.
Poured with a big light pink head and a dark pinkish hue. Carbonation seen rising. Pretty good start.
Aroma of raspberries and slightly musty.
Tate of raspberries, farmhouse, lightly tart and some wood. Not a very bold taste.
Mouthfeel was light and lightly cleansing.
Overall, a decent beer but there are definitely better beers of this style. I would also recommend drinking this fresh, as I don't think the aging helped any.
