Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of caramel malts, some pine. Taste is malt forward, caramel, piney hops are present, smooth and refreshing. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall, not as hoppy as most beers in this style, but a tasty beer nonetheless.

Pours a nice reddish coppery color with ivory colored head. Citrus, caramel malt, pine, floral notes, and some light bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with pine, spice, and a nice malt backbone.

12 oz. can:

Pours reddish amber with a lasting foamy head. Foamy lacing sticks.

The smell is of toasted caramel with citric and herbal spicing.

The taste is of lightly toasted caramel/toffee. Bitter citric/piney touch in the balance.

It has a sharp, lighter end of medium body.

A nice American hop-forward red. Listed as an IPA here. On the border of the styles. A nice hop-forward brew with a "red ale" malt character.

This Red Ale at 5.9% ABV pours a medium dark copper color. To me the aroma is almost non-existent which is it's main downside. The taste is pretty decent w some hopiness to it. Average mouth-feel. This beer is nothing special, but it would be a decent one for everyday occasions.

On tap at Great Dane Hilldale. Served in an imperial pint glass.

Appears medium copper body, one finger white head, good retention, lots of lacing. Smells of mellow grapefruit, citrus. Bready, with some caramel malt sweetness. Not too complicated. Flavour is primarily mild citrus, a bit of grapefruit, plenty of pale malt sweetness evoking caramel. Less so of the toffee. Not particularly bitter, but not too malty either. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, very easy to drink; surprisingly not particularly bitter. Mild citrus bitterness on the back end. Overall, decent drinking IPA, seems like a reasonably sessionable beer as well. Good one for an evening hanging out with friends.
