Deep, translucent ruby brown. Chalky white head shows fair retention.
Muted all around.
Light roasted malts and some cherry sweetness on the nose.
Taste in along these same lines. Faintly roasted up front with more prevalent chocolate notes. Cherry flavors are far from strong, but sweeten up the mid section. Rides out grainy.
Very thin for a stout, or even by porter standards.
A swing and a miss for Great Dane.
