I tried this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle roasty notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with faint roast and chocolate presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

On-Tap 12oz. (The Ale House)
8% ABV
Pours a nice black color, with a nice one-finger creamy off-white head, with some nice sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, with some nice chocolate, toffee, and coffee notes. Slight vanilla note. The taste is malty, with some nice chocolate, toffee, and coffee notes. Slight vanilla note. Medium body, ABV is hidden very well. Overall a pretty nice/tasty brew. Would recommend.
