During my session, it poured more of a yellow slightly hazy colour that eventually gave way to a clearer, crispier look. Maybe I didn't see it right. The head was at least 1 1/2 fingers with good lacing. The aroma was marked by tropical fruits (mostly citrus) and toasted cereal. The taste included those characteristics as well as a hint of caramel. I'd say the bitterness is elevated. Medium carbonation. This style is not my favourite but for what it is, it was good.

L:. Pours a copper orange with a medium white head and few fingers of lacing on the glass.
S:. Earthy malt, with a touch toasted bread followed by notes of grapefruit and a strong pine and dankness.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear orangish with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter hop base with faint citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was an ok beer.

Poured into a pint glass (room temp). Copper color with a small white head. No retention or lacing.
It smelled very malty with almost no hop smell, but a faint citrus smell.
Very mild hop taste; more like an amber. Overall, little to no flavor.
Light to almost no body; very watery. Did go down easy, but was expecting more.
Very easy to drink, but not where I would turn for a pale ale.
