On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, VT. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking bronzed / semi-burnt yellow color with a decent transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Lowly white head quickly dissipates. The smell starts with some sweet and tart lemon, subtle bitterness, subtle grassiness. Light bready. Sly spice (black pepper of sorts). The flavor rides the previously mentioned flavors together and brings about the spice to come in underneath. Subtle sweet bready/sly spice aftertaste. Quick sweet/spicy finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a spectacular sessionability about it. Carbonation runs underneath. Sly stickiness here and there, but acceptable. Overall, I can dig this as a saison. and could see myself having again.
