The saaz hops come through nicely for a mildly bitter finish. However, I expect a bit of a maltier flavor in a Pilsner.
Also: the pilsners I've had in the past are slightly more… antiseptic?

Poured on-tap and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a pale yellow coloring with a filmy, frothy, white head. Nose of roasted grains. Clean smell. Great lacing along the glass. Flavors are heavily roasted, with a good dose of bitter hops on the end of the palate. Bitter, resiny aftertaste, with a slow lingering finish. Hops presence builds as you drink. Medium bodied. Decent brew.

On Tap at the brewery in troy, NY. Pours golden with long lived white head. Aroma is of biscuit malt and hint of hops. Body is light and crisp. Nice amount of herbal hops balanced on the palate by biscuit malt. Finish is long and bitter. Well done pilsner.

Another one enjoyed at the Troy brewpub, this pilsner shows a typical pale gold color, clear, with a fair white fuzz on top and solid lacing. The aroma has a fairly bright rice and wheat grain idea with a tasteful hint of skunk cabbage. A bit distinctive I think. The flavor suggests a very interesting blend of rice vinegar and skunky wheat and an herbal hop that really makes this a more unique and nice pilsner experience. It’s light bodied but respectable for the style with just enough polite carbonation to ensure a refreshing experience with a tingly, easy feel that doesn’t risk anything near watery. Very enjoyable and easy enough to recommend with its gentle hop presence.
