look: 3.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.5

12 oz. bottle with no freshness date and some sediment on the bottom - served chilled in a weizen glass. It pours a translucent maroon with a 2 finger, tan head that is creamy and leaves some lacing. Overall it's pretty dark, almost like soda, and it's not as cloudy as I'd like. The aroma is quite nice - banana, bubblegum, wheat, chocolate, coffee, and maybe some citric hops. It's medium to light on the palate, with a pretty high carbonation that is smooth but maybe a little thin, and on top of this are flavors of roasted/toasty malts, tangy wheat, chocolate, and coffee, with a short finish. Overall a pretty good attempt but I think it needs a thicker body and some more yeast to rouse and pour into the glass.
