64 oz. screw-top growler. The beer is deep brown, almost blood-red, with light carbonation and three fingers of khaki head that leaves decent lacing. It smells sweet and fruity, with notes of coffee and roasted malts, and some lactic sweetness. The taste is about the same, on top of a medium body that has fairly high carbonation, and leaves a medium finish. Not too bad, but would be better with deeper lactic and roasted malt flavors.
