A: Nice brown color, but the head fades too quickly with little lacing. But I may have waited too long before opening it.
S: Nice sweet smell, with a pleasant hoppy finish.
T: Very nice flavor. Great balance of sweet and bitterness. A very enjoyable summer beer.
M: Thin beer, I would have enjoyed some more chew. But decent for an ale.
D: Very drinkable. Very smooth, as the label advertises. Also very refreshing. One of the better beers from Queen City.
Overall: This is a beer I will always grab when I visit Staunton. Very smooth, great balance, and a great refreshing beer for the summer time. For such a small brewery, this really delivers.

From a 64 oz., screw-top growler, it pours a chill-hazed amber/orange, with low carbonation and a two-finger tan head. Smells of buttery malts and some fruits (citrus, banana), green hops, and a slight lactic creaminess. Tastes about the same but with a dash of acetylhyde and a mild bitterness on top of a dry, medium, fairly crisp body that doesn't feel creamy at all. Overall rather bland, and it needs some creaminess in order to actually fit into this category.
