Can. Gold with lasting white head and some lace. Lemon pepper aroma with grass and hay. Medium light sweetness with fruity apricot and peach and spicy crisp peppery finish. Medium body. A simple farmhouse ale done simply well. Glad I took the chance.

Pale golden brew with a fast-dwindling white head. The nose is fruity and spicy; Belgian yeast notes emerge as the beer warms. The body is on the light side; carbonation is modest. The flavors are fruity and faintly phenolic. This is a refreshing and interesting brew, but it could use more punch in the flavor department. The exotic nose is its best feature.

Had on tap. Pours clear, gold in color with 1/4inch head. Taste is hay and black pepper with some funk. Medium bodied, low carbonation and funky. Tasty and very true to style. Nice local example of a classic saison. Nothing I would rush to get but well done.

Great Saison. Better than ones I've had at twice the price.
