Cloudy orange, huge fluffy head, great retention.
Smell of very sweet overripe bananas, clove, wheat, sweet citrusy fruitiness.
Traditional weizenbock taste, with the big banana and heavy wheat, but there's also a nice tutti-fruttiness (some apple, pears, faint apricots), too syrupy sweet tho. Lots of clove, spicy heavy yeasts. Hop presence in the finish, providing just enough bitterness to cut off the extra cloying sweetness. That still gets through tho.
Heavy chunky weizen, sweet enough to cover the alcohol and also to linger a bit too much in the aftertaste. Not really refreshing.
Decent weizenbock, but a bit too sweet for me, covering up the (otherwise) tasty parts of the brew.

500ml Bottle: BBD 27 June 2013. Poured into a HofBrau 'Munchner Kindl' Weizen glass during my 'Drinking around Europe' evening on 31st Dec 2012 (New Years Eve).
Misty/cloudy light amber/orange body with a full white head to start with.
The nose was a lovely mix of vanilla and banana esters along with a bready yeast smell.
The taste followed very closely to the smells: wheaty flavours complimented those vanilla, banana and yeasts mentioned in the aroma.
Really enjoyed this beer, it slotted in nicely as my wife and I drank our way through Europe.

500 ml flip top bottle picked up in Landstuhl, Germany. Pours a very cloudy gold color with a full and long lasting white head. Aroma is bubblegum, citrus and old bananas. Taste is a creamy smooth fruityness. of bananas and wheat. Palate is a smooth light Weizen Bock and has a slight sting in the flavor at the end. Really nice.
