A hoppy pale yellow lager brewed with malted rye and orange zest. Bold orange and citrus hop aromas open up the senses for this light bodied refreshing brew. Malty sweetness is quite low allowing for fruity and dank hop flavors to be the focus. The finish is pleasantly bitter with notable dry and spicy rye contributions.

Growler into pint glass, filled yesterday so this should be really fresh. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big mango, orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, peach, light pine, light rye, bread, light honey, grass, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity of hop notes with orange zest and light rye, with a fair amount of malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, mango, peach, pineapple, pine, spicy rye, light honey, bread, grass, and floral earthiness. Good amount of spicy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, mango, peach, pineapple, pine, spicy rye, light honey, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity of hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; with no overpowering bitterness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very crisp, smooth, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is an awesome hoppy rye lager! All around great complexity of hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
