Bottle poured into a Young's nonic pint
A- Even a careful pour yielded a 2-finger, dense, off-white head. Slightly hazy, golden body with light carbonation. Head sustains at 1/2 finger and leaves awesome lace on the glass.
S- Mix of hoppy, slightly sweet, and grainy. Grassy and citrus, something of saltine crackers. Fairly bold, actually.
T- Pretty much as the aroma suggests. Cracker-like malts are dominate initially. Hops come in through the middle and finish things up pretty clean and dry. A little aspirin-like at the end.
M- Moderate-full body. Light carbonation. Fairly dry. A little hoppy bite.
O- Without bottle dating I have no way of knowing, but I wonder if the bottle's been around a while. I know it's been in my fridge for at least 2-3 weeks. Hopping is just much less than expected. Good, not great. I would give it another shot on tap or as a known new bottle.

Short's Chatterbox.
Short's almost always does a solid job in terms of brews and my local Kroger had a great sale on left over Summer singles and this was one of them I picked up.
Look - Mours a deep murky amber with a three finger off white head that looks like it is going to stick around for awhile. Carbonation is unreadable due to the murk. Left some very solid lacing. 4.5.
Smell - Picking up some faint hints of what could have been dank hops that never quite fully form. Overall not a great nose. 3.
Taste - Grapefruit piths are met straight away by an odd maltiness with a touch of water and lemon zest. There really isn't much else to say about this beer. It is quite basic and to the point. 3.25.
Feel - Body is quite full with a large amount of catbonation and a good dose of creamyness that coats the mouth. Beer goes down a bit watery upon swallo. 3.25.
Overall - Well, it wasn't bad but even as an APA this was pretty weak. Not sure if it is past its day or not. But hey, this is a laid back relaxed drinking night with a few buddies so I don't need anything overly complex. 3.25.

Decent flavor, but too flat and watery in mouth feel for me.
