Bim Bam Boom is a rich dark stout brewed with cocoa nibs, cayenne pepper, and orange. Initial flavors are of sweet citrus followed by a lively tingling of peppery spice. A finish complete with roasted cocoa and tart orange flavors leaves a lasting impression.

Good brew with flavors of chocolate and orange. Couldn't taste the cayenne peppers but good nevertheless

Bottled on 11/3/16. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours almost black with lots of sediment falling to the bottom; small khaki head that fades leaving nice retention and solid lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Cocoa and milk chocolate is there along with some orange peel. Subtle hints of vanilla. The flavors are on the sweeter side, but there's still a bitterness there to balance things out. Lots of milk chocolate. The orange comes through along with some citrus which gives it a sweetness and mild tartness. The cayenne pepper comes through in the finish giving it a nice spiciness, but it's a balanced spiciness. It's definitely nothing too hot or overwhelming at all. Strong malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's slightly thin, but remains fluffy and smooth.
This is a solid imperial stout. The chocolate, orange and cayenne pepper all come through. Not bad at all.

Appearance is dark black with little head retention, kind of fizzy, little to no lacing. Smell-hot pepper spiciness in the nose with orange zest, chocolate malt. Taste/mouthfeel- chocolate malt, moderate hip bitterness, mild orange and cayenne pepper come through in the taste, mouthfeel is a light bodied beer that is missing the full body feel that one looks for in a stout. It feels like the base for this beer uses two row malt and is just too light for the style. The flavors presented in the description are all present but do not complement each other well enough to make it worth revisiting. Not one of my favorites from my favorite brewery unfortunately.

Poured bottle from 12/16 variety pack (10% version) into a clean snifter. Black with light tan/khaki head 1/2 finger. leaves light lace.
Smell is chocolate, moderate bourbon/ vanillin to me , slightly orange peel.
Taste is bourbon/dark chocolate notes. The habanero really kicks up the heat on this bad boy. Spicier than I thought it was going to be for sure.. a little too much and overpowers the balance with a hot feeling throughout the performance of the drank.
Full bodied stout that drinks like a.... habanero ... bourbon ... milk chocolate....... pepper... stout. If you roll this beer around your tongue it burns and the spicy factor is real! Never had that before in similar stouts.

12 ounce bottle into a snifter.
Pours a mostly opaque, dark brown, with a short, quickly dissipating head, and a ring of foamy cling. Smells of malt, cocoa, some chocolate and pepper, light vanilla, some smoke. The taste also starts with the malt, cocoa, cayenne- subtle at first, a little more heat as it warms, chocolate, some vanilla, some coffee as it warms. An almost sour orange, mostly on the finish. Smooth, good body, well carbonated.
Fun one to drink. This really opens up when it's fully warmed. Lots of flavors going on here. Definitely give this one a try next time around. Only bought one bottle, wish I had a couple more.
