Ester is listed as an Extra Pale Ale, it is from the Winter Variety Pack. It is a pale yellow color and it looks very clear for an ale. It retains a thin white head with light lacing on the side of the glass. The smell is like white bread with a hint of citrus. The flavor is lightly bitter and complex. There is some light pale malt flavors but mostly a mix of hops and yeast. The hops have a herbal flavor with a hint of citrus. The yeast has a lightly sweet taste with a hint of bubble gum. The mouthfeel is very clean. I like this one a lot, it is a very well balanced smooth drinking beer with complex flavor.

Smells like a pilsner, tastes like a pale. Nice hoppiness, not too bitter but with just that touch of bite. Not sure what it cost (it was a gift) but I'd buy it over many other pales depending on price point. Balanced carbonation, pale malt finish.

Poured from bottle into shaker pint. Pours a hazy, pale straw color with several fluffy fingers of white head that dissolves into a solid centimeter cap that hangs around. Thick, sticky lacing. Really good looking pale ale.
Aroma is biscuit and white bread, floral hops, citrus notes, grapefruit, lemon zest, some grass, lemon cookies.
There's a nice little piney hop bite up front at first sip, followed by floral and citrus, mostly lemon. Nice malt balance.
Smooth, medium/thin mouthfeel.

A straw yellow hazy beer with a nice foamy frothy white head. Smell is of biscuity malt, earthy hops, citrus, and some floral notes. It has a thin mouth feel with a bit of a crisp bitter aftertaste. There are some citrus notes with some fruity esters but overall a little watery and not as full flavored as expected.
