Brewed for and only served at (to my knowledge) Jameson's Irish Pub in Brighton.
This was pretty good - I hadn't had the style recently and decided to try it out, loving Short's. This is a pretty "tame" beer from Short's... it's a red. It has a nice sharp malt sweetness, but also a kind of "dusty" malt flavor, as I call it. Fairly sweet, a bit dry, and very easy drinking. Nice color, but very little lacing and no head to really speak of. Quite good for the style, if a bit forgettable compared to (m)any other Short's beer.
