A: medium brown with some brightness and clarity, smallish but sturdy head with a ring and some spotting
S: mostly the sweetness but good balance, solid hops presence for a bock off doughy and sweet malts
T: Butter, biscuit, a bit of brown sugar, wood, toast, grass, and almost raw green (a little sap?)
M: Medium body, smooth, not too crisp but with good carbonation. Has enough without biting too hard.

Wonderful bock that took me by surprise. I usually try anything from Short's I see on tap and I ordered this one expecting competence. What I received was a satisfying, flavorful, and filling ale. Served on tap in a shaker pint. Golden brown, clear ale with a finger of tightly packed tiny bubbles. Aroma is yeasty and sweet, caramel/toffee. Flavor is full of grains, bread, malty sweetness, and a touch of fig. Feel is medium, nice carbonation. Smooth but not slick. Would have again and again.
