A medium bodied sour black stout with pleasant berry like aromas. Tart and sour dark fruit flavors up front are complimented by an overall malty sweetness. The finish is relatively clean with hints of lingering acidity.

Had on tap. Served in nonic pint. Little to no head to speak of, a tin, white ring around the rim. Smell was different. Going into this one blind, didn't pay attention that this one was a sour stout. Aroma was roasted malt with sourness underneath. Different, somewhat appealing. Taste, however, came across almost like soy sauce: roasty and vinegar and sour and tart and malty. I wasn't too impressed until I had it paired with my wife sweet Thai sauce and chicken, it made a perfect pairing. Not something I would drink in its own though.
