Ginger Oaked Elixir is an Experimental American Blonde Ale brewed with ginger and conditioned with fresh French oakchips. This brew is pale orange in color with a lasting white head. It has a medium body, is moderately carbonated, and has aromas of gingerand oak. At first taste, Ginger Oaked Elixir has flavors of ginger and a malty sweetness while the finish is dry, oaky, and reminiscent of a classic ginger ale.

While the gingery, biscuit aroma is enticing enough, the flavor was entirely too much ginger, even with the addition of oak chips lending a hand to smooth out the finish. Closer in flavor to Ginger in the Rye (too much) than Gingersnap (just right). A pass from me. Well brewed, but not my kind of thing.
