Poured from crowler to pint glass. Color is a rusty brown, with a finger of off white head. Interesting mash-up of a Belgian ale and an English bitter. The Belgian yeast is certainly there in the aroma and flavor, banana and clove prominent. Not a bad thing, for me at least. I love a good Belgian. Then there's the herbal/tea/caramel notes that pop up as the glass is drained. Herbal/grassy hops, caramel, and toasted white bread finish it out. An interesting ale.
