A light amber colored Imperial Hefeweizen with ripe banana and spiced bread aromas from the classic combination of malted white wheat and Weihenstephan yeast. An uncommon malty sweetness blends with flavors of nutmeg and clove in this rather medium bodied wheat ale which finishes mildly bitter and dry.

12 oz glass on tap at Shorts Brewing Bellaire, MI
Herbst Hefeweizen has a slightly cloudy light amber colored body with a fluffy white head. Nice lacing stuck to the walls of my glass. The nose was of banana, bread and yeast. The taste was classic Hefeweizen. Ripe banana, fresh baked bread, with flavors of nutmeg, clove, and bubblegum were present. The Ale is medium bodied and finishes clean , a little dry, and a very mild hop presence.
Overall, a nice tasty classic Hefeweizen. I'll have another please.
