Brief Review:
O: Was surprised to see this on the floor at Holiday Market, didn't know it existed (and I follow Short's closely). I don't know much about it, but it seems it's a collab between Short's and Holiday Market. Style-wise, it looks like a weird mash-up of a Mexican-style hot chocolate and CBS/Prop '15. In execution, it's not this dream hybrid, but it's not too bad either! The cinnamon and vanilla come through in the aroma, but lack a bit in the flavor. Maple syrup, sadly, is almost non-existent here. It's mostly a heavy RIS with a dash of cinnamon/spice, aged in bourbon barrels. It's a decent beer, and it definately has that Short's touch, but it's not gonna knock your socks off.
Recommendation: Targeted at the local's, if you see it, it's worth picking up.

Bomber bottle, poured into tulip. Collab between Short’s and the manager of Holiday Market in Royal Oak.
Pours black with mocha, 1 finger head. Leaves minimal lacing. Cinnamon, roast and touch raisins on the nose. It’s a cinnamon bomb first, some roast and chocolate next, a touch maple syrup and then some light barrel. The biggest flaw is how thin this beer is. Too bad too. A little body and bourbon flavors would do this beer wonders.
