Peated Bourbon Barrel Aged Hammer Jack is a Scotch Ale aged in Two James J Riddle peated bourbon barrels. Dark brown in color with an off white head, this beer has aromas of vanilla, caramel, toffee, marshmallow, and smoke. Oak and prominent vanilla flavors from the barrels shine though from the J Riddle barrels. Accompanied by a silky smooth mouthfeel, the beer produces a slight warming sensation. As the beer warms, traces of smoked malt begin to appear

Poured from bottle to tulip glass. Mahogany in color with a collar of head. No lacing. Nice warm aromas of oaky goodness with sweet malt, brown sugar, caramel, and vanilla. Bourbon flavors upfront, with vanilla and toffee supreme, followed by smooth caramel. Beautifully slick and smooth in feel.
