The Ooze is a Milkshake IPA brewed with lactose, vanilla, matcha and pineapple. Very cloudy and lime green in color, this beer smells like tropical pineapple, grapefruit, guava, and green tea. Leading with a tropical blast of fruit during the initial sip, the tea shines next with a slight earthiness. Medium bodied, with a simultaneously creamy and juicy mouthfeel, The Ooze finishes smooth.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/29/2020. Pours opaquely hazy/cloudy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas and flavors of big pineapple juice, matcha green tea, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, cedar, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of pineapple juice, matcha green tea, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, cedar, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light biscuit/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, pineapple, matcha, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt notes; with an awesome malt/bitter/tartness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, lightly sticky hops, and slightly resinous/rindy/acidic mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming 6.8%, with no lingering hop burn after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Milkshake NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, pineapple, matcha, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel. Feels like Simcoe and Citra, the matcha tea adds a unique dank cannabis quality that is not overwhelming. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice lactose/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering bitter dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected of the brewery. No complaints!

Pours a hazy orange color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is citrus and pineapple. Tastes of pineapple and vanilla. Sweet with a slightly bitter finish.

Poured from bottle to snifter glass. Color isn't as hazy green as anticipated; more of a key lime pie filling color or dark pineapple juice. Nice fruity aromas, with pineapple and guava, vanilla and citrus hops. Flavor is quite nice, the vanilla, lactose and pineapple create and sweet and tart blend of juicy goodness appropriate to the soft, airy feel. A hint of tea in the flavor. Finish leaves the tongue dry.

Pours hazy green. Foamy, medium white head that Fades slowly with lacing.
Smells tropical, Citrus, herbal and pineapple.
Taste grapefruit, pineapple, citrus peel, lightly earthy, herbal, light bready malt and the faintest hint of vanilla. Finish is dry with a citrus peel linger. Full body and creamy medium carbonation.
This says it's a milkshake inspired IPA this is a very loose interpretation of that but it is pretty good and the shorts signature bitter finish.
