Totally Noche With Lime is an easy-drinking Mexican dark lager with a light brown hue and off white head. This beer smells of roast with a hint of chocolate and has flavors of mild chocolate, roast, and a touch of citrusy lime. The finish is smooth, crisp, and clean.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 9/7/2018. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange/copper/light reddish color with a small dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of limes, citrus peel/zest, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with light notes of nuttiness, roast, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready/light roasted malts, limes, and light earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of limes, citrus peel/zest, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with light notes of nuttiness, roast, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, floral, grassy, zesty, peppery bitterness; and lime tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of limes, citrus peel/zest, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/light roasted malts, limes, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness and fruit tang/tartness balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeasty notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/zest bitterness and fruit tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky/tangy/acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Vienna lager. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/light roasted malts, limes, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/tart/drying finish. Very flavorful, not overwhelming on any aspect. Great balance of juicy/vibrant limes and clean/rich Vienna malt complexity; with solid earthy hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Just as impressive as the base beer, but less bitter/drying.

A little over a year from the variety pack debut of Totally Noche comes the Lime version. Appearance is very much the same: pours a nice Brown with a collar of off white foam atop. Aromas and flavors of caramel, roast, some cocoa, but with fresh, tart lime added to the mix. The fruit is natural in flavor. Clean, crisp finish.
