Ten Tickles is a Brut IPA brewed with blackberry, blueberry, and lemon. Deep pink in color with a slightly pink head carrying aromas of tart berry and dank citrus. Fruity flavors shine in this beer. Leading with a slight tartness before blending with grapefruit citrus and jam-like berry, this medium-bodied beer has lively carbonation making the flavors pop before finishing dry.

How many tickles does it take to make an Octopus laugh?

A: pours smooth with absolutely no foam and slight ring of carbonation appears short after. Moderate haze. Deep amber with a grapefruit pink aura.

S: the berries really stand out upon intial aspiration. During deeper inhalation the lemon really comes through. not to strong but you can tell its there. It doesnt have much of that 'champagne' smell like stronger brut ipa.

T: the berries and lemon mix well in this combination. First the berry flavor hits the roof of you mouth and back of the throat then a lemony burst surges along the gums and inner cheek converging at the lips center.

M: 100% astringent. There is nothing thirst quenching about it. Have a water on hand because you will have dry mouth. Other than that it actually is crushable, almost like "dry" water.

O: i would have to recommend it for a try but i would not buy it again. i do not really feel the flavor of mixes well with the dryness. If i was offered one i would still enjoy it, but in a world of ever changing flavors, it wouldnt get a second buy. This rating is for actual judgement of this brut ipa and i do not like brut ipa so i tried to leave my bias out of it. Hope this makes your selection easier.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/21/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/amber, light reddish/pinkish color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/tangy blackberry, blueberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, blueberry, blackberry, lemon, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/tangy blackberry, blueberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy blackberry, blueberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, blueberry, blackberry, lemon, and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no hop/fruit astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly acidic/tangy/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.8%. Overall this is an excellent fruited brut IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, blueberry, blackberry, lemon, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/tart/tangy/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Feels like Simcoe/Citra. Awesome balance of juicy/vibrant/dank/earthy hops and fruit; with a solid pale malt backbone, and minimal residual sweetness from crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively spot on style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect. Pretty much perfect balance of all flavors.

Poured from bottle to nonic pint glass. Rubyish liquid with a nice pinky foam that's here and gone. Aromas of berry, white grape, and lemon zest. Flavor is berries and grape but finishes with an overpowering lemon flavor and bitterness that clashes with a the dry, fruity Brut style.

Oh hey. Let’s do a brut dry ipa the dump some sweet fruit too to turn off the dry. This one is ok. The dry yeast stuff is fun enough to balance with the sweet fruit. I get more dry then fruit which I guess is the point so well done. Not sure if this is fully in the brut class but variety is the spice of life and this one is well worth the buy

Quite a nice brut IPA with good fruit-forward flavors but not much hoppy bitterness. Pours a medium-light pink color with just a little foamy head and scant lingering lacing. Smells of citrus zest hops, some weaker floral hops and a little vanilla. Tastes of some blueberry, lemon, raspberry and orange fruit with only hints of grapefruit and lemon zest hops. In the background are some floral hops, malt, vanilla and bread. Mainly a light feel to the beer, thin mouthfeel and good carbonation. I’m not a huge fan of this style but this beer was certainly enjoyable enough as a single.
