Go Juice is a milkshake IPA with Mundos Ethiopian Gelana Abaya coffee, marshmallow fluff, milk sugar, and vanilla. Cloudy and tan in color, there are aromas of bright citrus mingling with coffee and vanilla. Full in body, Go Juice leads with flavors of citrus and fruity coffee. With a slight sweetness in the mouthfeel and vanilla in the finish, it creates a uniquely delicious combination of hoppy and sweet.

Appearance - If there were such a thing as a dirty or dishwater IPA, this would be it. It appears that somebody washed their dirty hands in my once orange IPA.

Smell - The nose is pretty straight forward citrus IPA. I do not detect the adjuncts.

Taste - This beer was oddly tasty. In my mind, I am thinking of a Mountain Dew flavor gone wrong. If orange Mountain Dew were supplemented by marshmallow fluff and a hint of coffee, this wound be it. There was a slight dankness amid the sweetness of the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - The body was reasonably full with the smoothness of lactose.

Overall - I liked this beer a bit, if in fact it is beer.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/30/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep orange/copper/amber/light brown color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, nutty medium roast coffee, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, marshmallow, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light cocoa, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, coffee, vanilla, lactose, marshmallow, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, nutty medium roast coffee, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, marshmallow, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light cocoa, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery, roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, nutty medium roast coffee, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, marshmallow, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light cocoa, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, coffee, vanilla, lactose, marshmallow, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/sugar/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alchohol for 6%, or lingering hop burn. Overall this is an excellent flavored milkshake NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, coffee, vanilla, lactose, marshmallow, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Great soft f eel, and not overly aggressive. Feels like Citra, Simcoe, Columbus. Very vibrant, dank, earthy hops with balanced coffee; with a great lactose and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive experimental style example. A bit odd at first, but everything comes together exceptionally well. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

12 fl oz bottle
Served in an IPA glass

This beer pours tea colored with some burnt orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves little lacing.

I am surprised at how much pine and grapefruit there is in the aroma. As it warms I get some coffee and cream aroma.

At first I got quite a bit of grapefruit in the taste. Once it warmed up some the coffee and vanilla came through.

Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel

It was a lot heavier on the grapefruit than I expected. It was decent but not as good as I expected.

Quite a nice coffee IPA. Poured from bottle to snifter. Color of coffee with a splash of cream with a frothy head. Aromas of sweeten coffee, marshmallow, vanilla, with light orange. Flavors favor the coffee side, with a pillowy liquid carrying along a double-double with an here and there splash of OJ. Quite enjoyable in a strange way.

Bottled 10/31/19; drank 11/28/19 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque brown/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice eggshell head; frothy lace.

Orange citrus, light roast coffee bean & cream notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

This tastes like mixing your orange juice and your coffee with cream...aka, not real good.

Interesting failure.

Bottled on 10/30/19. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy and murky brownish golden; fluffy light khaki head that fades quickly leaving solid retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of citrus going on. Some caramel. Malts are there. The coffee aromas open up as it warms. The flavors are bolder than the nose might indicate. The coffee really comes through in the flavor department. More citrus coming through. The vanilla and marshmallow fluff does its thing. Some cocoa powder in the mix. Moderate bitterness. It's on the sweeter side. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, slightly creamy and smooth.

This is a solid brew. It's somewhat unique, which I can appreciate. The coffee, marshmallow fluff and vanilla ultimately work with the citrus flavors. It might be a little rough around the edges at times, but it's bold and flavorful which makes it fun to drink. Not bad at all.

Pours a hazy, murky brown with a foamy head that lasts a long time. Citrus aroma. Slightly bitter taste but not enough to discourage a non-hoppy beer drinker. Good mouth feel. Overall an okay brew.
