Brief Review:
O: Cocktail-inspired beers seem to be all the rage lately. Founder's nailed it with their takes on the Margarita and the Paloma. Can Short's nail it with their Whiskey Sour? I'd say pretty darn close. It's a little too tart at times, and the whiskey isn't a huge presence, but it's an overall nice, easy-drinking beer that truly feels like a cocktail if you try hard enough.
Recommendation: One of Short's better BA beers and a very nice take on the Whiskey Sour. Try it if you see it!

Poured from bottle to IPA glass. Amber garnet colored liquid with a rocky off white head. Aromas of lemon zest and sour funk, just a bit of sweet whiskey. Flavors at first hit sour, puckeringly so. Let it sit and warm and the sour rolls over to a sweet and tart lemon whiskey with a sweet cherry finish. Definitely do not drink right out of the fridge.

Spotted this at my grocery store and it was the last and only one in sight, so of course I grabbed it.
It is quite like what the label says it is, and it does taste a little like a whiskey sour. So the named "inspired" fits it perfectly. One of the better sours I've had.
