A hazy India Pale Ale brewed with pureed mango, tangerine, and pineapple. Fruitasia is fruit forward with low bitterness and low alcohol, making it a perfect summer sipper that you can enjoy from May to August.

Never thought the most divisive Short's brew would be what is essentially a session NEIPA. Poured from bottle to spiegelau IPA glass. Hazy yellow with fizzy head. Not much retention. Aromas of white bread, mango, and unsweetened orange juice. Aroma follows through to the flavor, with a prickly, somewhat harsh finish. Reminds me of Gary Juicy with added mango and pineapple tartness.

12 fl. oz can
Served in a pint glass
This beer pours an orangish yellow color and is turbid. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves little lacing.
The smell comes across as dank and earthy. The fruit takes a back seat but is there.
It is dank up front. The fruit arrives in the middle and carries towards the finish. The finish is easy and makes me crave another sip.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This was a flavorful, easy drinking beer. Now they need to put it in 30 packs.

I think that this offering is getting a bad rap .... It is what it is ... An IPA your girlfriend or wife will love ... A light, low ABV, hazy and citrusy sessionable beer ... It's a bit too flat and over-done on the citrus for my liking but I think it's a nice option for one looking for any easy drinker on a really hot day

Can to sifter. Look is hazy light orange. Smell is ripe citrus up front, followed quickly by barnyard wheat, slightly soured. Taste brings a bit of lacto tang, kind of funky, with a citrus punch. Feel is fine, unremarkable, carb is medium. Overall, I get how some can be turned off by this one. For me this reads a bit like a kettle sour, with a bit of hops. A unique offering for sure. I would buy again to have a different flavor profile in a low ABV offering

I agree completely with another reviewer on here. Looks like another delicious option from Shorts, a notoriously great brewery, but honestly left me cringing to drink the entire can.
The good: Looks exactly like what I want from a hazy ipa.
The bad: This beer smells like cat urine and rotten fruit. The taste is unfortunately not any better. Honestly, it takes more like bile then anything else. Maybe a few hints of tangerine and slight hops but that's it. Pass on this and get another shorts brew.
I'm not exactly sure what they were thinking when they canned this. Based on the can code, our beer is only three weeks old.

Short pants is a great brewery. They brew some of the tastiest beers I've ever tasted. That's why when I saw this beer staring back at me from across the isle, I couldn't resist. I should have. Fruitasia is terrible. Like a mix of cat urine and pond scum, it coats the mouth with a slime soapy discharge that makes me cringe. I only hope someone will read this review before buying and go elsewhere. You're welcome.
